The installation capacity of this carport solar mounting system project is 700KW. Which is located in Shanghai Electric Group in Minhang District, Shanghai. The project site is the company's 3 parking sheds, including the reconstruction of the owner's original structure carport and the new PV carport build.
It was discovered that several carports that needed to be modified that had leaked due to unrepairs for years after CHIKO solar engineer surveyed the site. The owner decided to build the solar power station based on the original PVC membrane structure carport due to the high maintenance costs and the desire to increase revenue. During the project construction, CHIKO Solar removed the top sheds of the membrane solar mounting structure above the original carport, and then added purlings to apply rail series 507, which is 2019 CHIKO latest solar mounting system product.
The biggest feature of the rail 507 used in this project is waterproof performance, which also solved the owners' worries about the waterproof problem. CHIKO Solar adopts a unique waterproof design, abandons the traditional shed glue method, uses the pressure block fixing method and embeds the sealing rubber strip in the groove of rail. It solves the water accumulation problem of the bracket system.

CHIKO L-type carport solar mounting system is applied to this new carport, which is the most widely used on carport system. The biggest feature is its innovation in the excellent performance of previous carports and the various structural frames of the bracket. As you can see, there are many small holes in the mounting system. These small holes play important role in enhancing the stability of the overall structure when strong winds come, these small holes can reduce the wind load on the carport surface and increase more safety!
NEW SOLAR CARPORT
The mounting system CK-L, CK-T and CK-Y used in this project are universal used for large shopping malls and factories. The outstanding feature is strong wind resistance. It can be built without being limited by the size of the parking space. It does not worry about scratching the column when parking, which makes parking more convenient.
It took for 3 months for the whole period from site investigation , confirmation of construction site area and installation capacity, CHIKO Solar provided a solution , the site construction was completed, till the power station was officially put into operation. When the new year of 2020 coming, the project has been officially put into operation. The solar carport replaces the traditional carport, which can both park and generate electricity. And the owner would obtain 25 years of power generation revenue.
